Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to classical and old boleros, along with the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as opera and dramatic performances. At age 16 she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began giving her a more intensive training in singing. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. As an instructor and performer in the local area, her love of art and music has her active in a variety of initiatives. Ana was a former part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform the traditional Latin American song.
