Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actor, known for her performances in the film Beta Saajan as well as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! Her first fame was her 1980s role in Tezaab, in which she co-starred with an established actor Anil Koopor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir on Dil. In Mumbai the city she was born by middle class parents. At a very young age, she began to learn dance. As a young woman, she started acting but had a difficult time as a majority films she made were not successful. The actress gained fame and was one of India's leading film actresses. Following her wedding, she took some time away from performing until she returned. Recently, she was an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit received fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which she took home eight. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, the fourth-highest civil honour in India. Her social work is also well-known.
